Factory-mode Straw mushroom production boosts over 30 million CNY of annual output value

Recently, in mushroom garden located in Peinan Village, Sihong County, Jiangsu Province of China, Straw mushrooms are showing desirable growth tendency on fungus bed, workers are engaged with picking, sorting and transportation work.

In 2018, Peinan Village actively strengthens the cooperation with local leading agricultural enterprises.

“Up to now, 2 business parts have been introduced to the garden, 64 temperature-controlled greenhouses built by Jiangsu Qisheng Mushroom Company have been put into production. With raw materials made of straw and corncob, waste materials collected after mushroom picking are reused as organic fertilizers, which reveals the cyclic model and eliminates environmental pollution. In 64 greenhouses, annual output on Straw mushroom reaches 1300 tons while annual output value hits 30 million CNY,” introduces principal of the mushroom garden warmly, going on that operation of the mushroom garden not only drives the masses to get rid of poverty and grow rich, but also creates the green, ecological and high-efficiency development road of modern agriculture.
