Industrialized mushroom production shines as a promising industry

In recent years, Haidong City, Qinghai Province of China has been positively introducing the technology of industrialized mushroom production for local growers. By now, mushroom growing has become the promising industry that accelerates the growth of modern agriculture and industrial poverty alleviation in Haidong City.
After 2 years of test and exploration, now, industrialized mushroom base built in Ledu Modern Agricultural Garden is starting to take shape.
“Production workshop of the base covers 60 square meters, 5000 kg of King oyster mushrooms could be output per batch, to calculate by 18 batches in a year, the projected annual output hits 90,000 kg while the present market price is at 6 CNY per kg,” introduces principal of the base warmly, adding that the base engages in production and marketing of King oyster mushroom and mushroom bags, trial cultivation of Morel mushroom and Pleurotus citrinopileatus, raw materials include corn straw, cotton seed hull, sawdust, bran and others. Waste mushroom bags could be reused as organic fertilizer, which realizes a green, ecological and high-efficiency development pattern.
