Zhejiang Province: New breeding technology on mushroom spawn gets a significant breakthrough

On September 17, in production workshop operated by Zhejiang Yiwu Longchuan Agricultural Development Co., LTD, Seafood mushrooms are in good growth trend, and show tall and graceful status.
“Our company has been customized with a new breeding technology of mushroom spawn on industrialized Seafood and King oyster mushroom production by Zhejiang University and Mushroom Team of New Rural Development Research Institute, including a 200 litres of sparse tank of liquid spawn and 2 semi-automatic inoculation assembly lines, which meets the requirement of 18,000 bags of daily output,” introduces general manager of Longchuan Company warmly, going on that compared with traditional production pattern, the new technology helps inoculate 6000 bags per hour, rate of finished products reaches 99.5%. Meanwhile, it also saves above 50% of production costs on inoculation links, shortens 30% of cultivation cycle and boosts the output of 550-600g on fresh mushroom in each bag.
Mushroom industry is grasped as one of ten leading industries in Zhejiang Province, in 2017, gross mushroom output came to nearly 700,000 tons and  gross output value hit 5.7 billion CNY within the province. In the past, breeding technology of solid mushroom spawn and artificial inoculation method resulted in spawn degeneration and wrong spawn, which restricts the development of intensive and industrialized (factory-mode) mushroom production. Now and in the future, the application of liquid spawn will assuredly promote the transformation and upgrading of mushroom industry in Zhejiang Province, China.
