Factory-mode mushroom industry leads a flourishing development trend

Over the years, mushroom production keeps on showing industrialized and large-scale pattern in Yong’an City, Fujian Province of China. Within the city, adjustment of variety structure reveals initial effect while regional layout of mushroom industry is increasingly perfected. Since the first half of this year, mushroom industry has been vigorously promoted while situation of production has been revealing a steady and going-up trend. By 2018, the estimated gross capacity on mushroom production reaches 21.56 million bags, of which rare mushroom occupies 13.21 million bags, gross output value hits 90 million CNY within Yong’an City.
In order to ensure the flourishing development of mushroom industry, Yong’an City promotes large-scale and facility-mode mushroom production. Now, there are 27 large-scale mushroom producers engaging in anniversary mushroom production in the city.
In addition to Seafood mushroom, Shiitake and Auricularia polytricha, Yong’an City has also newly introduced Bamboo fungus, Antrodia cinnamomea and other rare edible and medicinal varieties, which enhances local market competitiveness while driving the bright and prosperous development of mushroom industry.
