Mushroom industry is going through transformation and upgrading in Zhejiang Province, China

In recent years, rare mushroom cultivation of King oyster and Pleurotus geesteranus has been successfully introduced to Liandu District, Zhejiang Province of China. Up to now, an industrialized base which annually produces 2000 tons of King oyster mushroom and a base that annually produces 1.2 million bags of Pleurotus geesteranus have been built within the district, which optimizes variety structure of mushroom production, alters the situation of single mushroom variety and promotes the transformation and upgrading of mushroom industry.
Up to now, mechanized and industrialized stick production has been obtained in Liandu District, a series of procedures such as material-preparation, mixing, bagging, sterilization and others could be implemented via assembly lines, which greatly lifts efficiency of labour and safety, lowers labor costs and conforms to requirement of industrial development and upgrading. So far, 6 stick processing factories have been built in the district.
Furthermore, Liandu District also positively introduces intensive deep-processing mushroom enterprises, modifies traditional processing craft and explores new products so as to enrich product category. To cite an instance, with China’s most advanced high-temperature sterilization mushroom poaching production line and production line of Fruit & Vegetable vacuum dewatering,  Lishui Lvjie Food Co., LTD annually poaches 5000 tons of mushrooms, processes 1000 tons of fruits and vegetables, 20 varieties are included in two series.
