Mushroom industry leads significant development trend

Since this year, Baiquan County, Jiangxi Province of China has been relying on ecological resources and brand advantages regarding superior international green demonstration area, setting development of mushroom industry chain as the sally port to forestry economy industry and the main attack point to poverty alleviation industry.
Baiquan County regards brand creation of Black fungus as the development philosophy, up to now, 2000 standardized mushroom greenhouses have been built, annual mushroom output reaches 50 million bags and it is expected to exceed 100 million bags by the end of 2018. In addition, 7 mushroom projects have been introduced while the development pattern of whole-industry chain which highlights R&D, bag-production, deep processing, online and offline mushroom marketing has been formed.
This year, through mushroom industry, 1826 poor households totaling 3645 people are estimated to end poverty in Baiquan County.
