Morel cultivation twinkles as a prosperous direction

In midsummer, when you arrive Daping Village, Xi County, Shanxi Province, what leap to your eyes are blue sky, white cloud and Morel greenhouses placed closely side by side. Here it is the ecological demonstrative Morel base covering hundreds mu of land.
According to know, Morel bases in Daping Village were constructed by Shanxi Tianyuan Agriculture Development Co., LTD, the company raised 3 million CNY on the establishment of Fenghe Mushroom Cooperative which mainly sets R&D, production, cultivation, marketing and deep-processing of Morel, Bolete, Termitomyces and other rare mushrooms into one.
“Till now, 40 Morel greenhouses have been built and 100 kg of Morel could be picked in each greenhouse, to calculate by 120 CNY per kg, the gross revenues could be 12,000 CNY,” introduces the principal of Shanxi Tianyuan Agriculture Development Co., LTD, adding that Morel cultivation does not affect normal farming while enabling villagers to earn considerable revenues.
Revealed by current statistic, Daping Village holds 60 households totaling 300 people, among them, poor households account for 32, and the agricultural acreage of the village covers over 600 mu, which mainly engages in corn cultivation while villagers generate low incomes. However, through transaction price of 500 CNY per mu, 50 mu of land was constructed into Morel bases, which implies bright prospect on poverty removal.
