Morels are fruiting in study land and mu production value reaches 15,000 CNY

Recently, 3 mu of Morel land cultivated on last November has been successively ushering the harvest season in Xingqiao Town, Chongqing City, Sichuan Province of China since this March. According to introduction, 50kg could be obtained in each mu, and the production value in each mu could come to 15,000 CNY. After the technology become matured, the output and output value could be lifted over at least one time.
“We are the sole high-end mushroom base in this area, after the trial cultivation, we intend to enlarge the scale,” said related official fervidly, adding that in addition to cultivating Morels, the base also engages in Phellinus igniarius and several high-end mushroom varieties.
