In 2016, Yongchuan District of Chongqing City totally produced 100 million mushroom bags, achieved the production capacity of 50,000 tons which accounted for 70% of the total production in Chongqing City.
This is an achievement that Yongchuan devoted great efforts to promoting the supply-side reform of Agriculture, the three measures referring to adjust the industrial structure, change the economic development mode, promote innovation were taken in just five years, mushroom industry in Yongchuan District has realized leapfrogging development, grown out of nothing and expanded from small to big, Yongchuan District has distinctly turned into “Mushroom Land”.
