Mushroom project lifts more than 6000 farmers out of poverty

It is reported that Linxi County of Xingtai City, Hebei Province has been leading the poor masses to transfer the form of employment by providing the training on technical ability and attracting business in recent years, finally the whole county has thrown off poverty. One example is Guangming Jiudaogu Mushroom Project that situates in Linxi County.
The character of Guangming Jiudaogu Mushroom Project is huge investment and high labor intensity, the project already drove more than 6000 farmers to realize the incomes of over 180 million CNY, according to the head of Employment Agency in Linxi County. It helps over 1000 surplus labors get jobs, leads the development of tens of local correlative industries, such as plastics processing industry and food processing industry, it also offers a platform for the mass business. Moreover, thanks for the project, the agricultural resources of the whole county have been taken full advantage.
The head of the company said, as measured by annual capacity of the first-stage project, we should buy 12,600 tons of corncob and 5000 tons of cottonseed hull from local parts, this alone action could promote to increase the incomes of 11 million CNY.
