Heilongjiang: Edible mushroom industry help farmers become rich

A farmer from Xingdong village Qinggang county Heilongjiang province said, she can earn over 70 CNY per day to work in the spawn log production. It is introduced that edible mushroom industry is the anti-poverty project in local. The total investment of local edible mushroom base is 12.80 million CNY, adopted “enterprise + academy + cooperative + farmers”, the base have 5 standard production areas, it can produce 1 million spawn logs one year. The main mushrooms are Shiitake, Flower Shiitake, Pholiota nameko and Pleurotus citrinopileatus, the base can produce 600 tons Shiitake and 200 tons Pholiota nameko, 70% of these products were exported to Korea and America, the annual benefit is 1 million CNY.
