Xinjiang: Edible mushroom output value reached 40 million CNY in Hutubi county

Recently, Hutubi county activity develop edible mushroom industry, adjust industry structure and transform production mode. At present, the county has 5 edible mushroom cooperatives, and also established Hutubi Edible Mushroom Association. The county has successful cultivated Brown mushroom, Straw mushroom, F.var. Velutipes, agrocybe cylindracea, Seafood mushroom and King oyster mushroom. The cultivating area covered 200 thousand square meters, the yield reached more than 3000 tons and output value reached 40 million CNY. 
The next plan of Hutubi county is that expand the edible mushroom cultivation scale, achieve the output of over 10 thousand tons and output value of 10 million CNY, make the the county to become the biggest mushroom production base in Northwest of China.
