Hunan: Guidong county “Brazil Mushroom” was exported to oversea markets

It’s reported, “Brazil Mushroom” is also called “Agaricus subrufescens”. It is a summer growing saprophyte, living in high temperature, humility, ventilation environment, with an almond flavor, crisp taste. Agaricus subrufescens’ pileus is tender and stipe is crispy, it is loved by consumers and has a good market prospect. In recent years, Hunan Guidong county based on the local conditions to lead crowd to develop Brazil mushroom planting. “Brazil Mushroom” has become a Xiadong village “One Village One Product” industry project in Xiadong village, Zengkou town, Guidong county.
At present, this village has developed 32 “Brazil Mushroom” planting greenhouses, over 100 villagers participated in planting. The product orders has been exported to Japan, Korea and other countries.
