Inner Mongolia: Chifeng ten thousand mu of photovoltaic edible mushroom project is construction

Recently,  Chifeng Inner Mongolia's first 300MWp “ten thousand edible mushroom cultivation of agricultural light complementary demonstration park” project officially started construction.
It’s reported, this project is invested construction by Chifeng Jietai Electric Co., Ltd. and Chifeng Zhongyu Agricultural Science and Technology Co., Ltd.. The total investment is 3500 million CNY, include built photovoltaic agricultural greenhouse invest 3000 million CNY and built the supporting vaccine production base invest 500 million CNY. The construction period of three years, in 2015, the first phase of 2800 mu, the construction of agricultural greenhouse 700 and 70MWP photovoltaic power station, in 2016, the second phase of 3200 mu, the construction of agricultural greenhouse 800 and 100MWP photovoltaic power station, in 2017, the third phase of 4000 mu, the construction of agricultural greenhouse 1000 and 130MWP photovoltaic power station. The power station will operate 25 years.
After the completion of the project, the total area is about ten thousand mu and is expected to be daily production 0.2 million spawn bags, which can reduce 3560 million tons of coal burning, equivalent to 1060 million tons of carbon dioxide and 8236 tons of Sulfur dioxide emissions. The project takes full advantage of the local agricultural waste such as straw to grow edible mushroom that reduce production cost and improve production efficiency. Meantime, it’s also conducive to the protection of ecological environment, economic benefits and ecological benefits.
