Gansu: The scale of edible mushroom production has reached over 820 thousand bags in Hui county

Recent years, the edible mushroom industry develops rapidly. So far, the scale of edible mushroom production has reached over 820 thousand bags in the whole county, the cultivating scale of Gastrodia elata and Grifola reached more than 200 mu. It is predicted that the output would reach over 700 thousand kilograms, the output value reach 66.75 million CNY in this year.
The county government has made some relevant policies to promote edible mushroom industry development. At present, the county has held 15 training activities, about 300 mushroom cultivators trained. 
The county has built 5 edible mushroom bases, including use substitute materials to cultivate Black fungus, Shiitake and Oyster mushroom bases, artificial cultivation Grifola base, scientific research base and breeding base.
