Hubei: Badong developed Bamboo mushroom industry, which has brought considerable economic benefits

Badong county is rich in forest resources, the weather is pleasant there, which is very suitable for developing edible mushroom cultivation.Based on the local conditions, Dongba Juntianfu Edible Mushroom Professional Cooperation leads farmers to cultivate, process and sell Bamboo mushroom. At present, the cooperation can rough process about 1000 kg Bamboo mushrooms per day. The Bamboo mushroom products are sold to Guangzhou and Jiangxi at the price of 360 CNY/kg.
It is introduced that this cooperation’s base covers 110 mu, the picking period of Bamboo mushroom is from the middle of June to the end of October. The yield of each mu is about 1250 kg, which has bring considerable economic benefits.
