Inner Mongolia: Pleurotus citrinopileatus becomes a new choice for citizens of Chifeng

Recently, five Edible Mushroom Associations have cultivated Pleurotus citrinopileatus successfully in Chifeng, Inner Mongolia. Under the guidance of the association of Baekdu Mountain area, this technology was developed by five Edible Mushroom Associations and five Edible Mushroom Technology and Training Centers for 3 years research. It fills the gap of Pleurotus citrinopileatus market, enriches the edible mushroom species for customers and increase farmers’ income.
Pleurotus citrinopileatus also is called Golden mushroom containing multivitamin and higher mineral substances. The color of its sporocarp is golden that looks like a flower. And that is why this fungi is also called "the crown of mushrooms in forest". Besides, it's form is elegant, thus it has another name of "the flower in fungus".
