Qinghai：The higher yield of Cordyceps sinensis causes an lower price of 100 thousand CNY/kg

The annually harvest time of Cordyceps sinensis is completed in Yushu, Qinghai Province. The yield of Cordyceps sinensis in this area this year is higher than previous years’, which is thus called as “the harvest year”. The output this year is estimated at around 10 tons. 
However, the price of it seems lower than before. It showed a downward trend for three years. As the medium-quality Cordyceps sinensis as an example, it was sold for 1000 CNY per kilogram from last 90’s. In 2013, it surprisingly increased at over 200 thousand CNY per kilogram, and dropped at 120 thousand CNY last year. This year, the price of it declined at 100 thousand CNY. Besides, for the Cordyceps sinensis of lower quality, the price decreased about 3000 to 4000 CNY year on year.
