Fujian: A village specializing in pig-raising in Gutian has transformed into a White fungus base

Liyang which is a well-known village specializing in pig-raising is located in Gutian, Fujian Province. Since the remediation of local livestock breeding, an increasing number of swineherds were engaged in the development of edible mushroom cultivation. 
For encouraging more local farmers to join in mushroom cultivation, the government of Liyang established a specialized cooperative for promoting White fungus growing. Now, the first batch of White fungus has been picked which is total 250 thousand bags. The other 250 thousand bags of the second batch is ready to be gathered. White fungus cultivation successfully becomes a new approach for improving local farmers’ income.
