Yadong Black fungus grows in the dense forest in Yadong county, Tibet, which is located in the south of the Himalayas. Yadong Black fungus is called as “Black fungus of whopping price”, because of its low yield and high nutritional value. Yadong Wild Black fungus can be sold for over 6000 CNY per kilogram. With the development of technology of edible mushroom, Black fungus in Yadong can be cultivated artificually now, the company has formed large-scale production and operation. Recent years, Yadong county government actively lead farmers to develop Black fungus cultivation. The county also adopts the production pattern of “company+farmer” , which the technical company provides spawn and technology service for farmers, agent marketing and selling, sell to Chengdu and Guangzhou. Black fungus cultivation brings considerable incomes to farmers and herdsmen in Yadong.
