It different from Black fungus, Shiitake and Oyster mushrooms that are cultivated mainly by sawdust. The raw material of “Heinong Stropharia-Ⅰ” is agricultural wasts, including straws, corncobs and livestock manures. This type of straw rotting fungus can be cultivated in the open field.
Stropharia is umbrella-shaped, the mushroom stem is thick. According to the specialist from Heilongjiang Agricultural Science Academy, the amino acid and protein content of “Heinong Stropharia-Ⅰ” is over one time higher than ordinary mushrooms, the ferric content of it is several times higher than common ones. Besides, this new straw rotting mushroom can grow in the open field, it can be cultivated in corn and rice seedling shed and woodlands under a wide temperature range. The average net income of one mu of open field production is about 5000 CNY. In addition, the wastes after cultivation can be used to increases the fertilizing capabilities of the field, which will achieve more ecological benefits and economic benefits.
