Mulberry branches containing selenium has been efficiently utilized for mushroom cultivation in Yuexi. This new method is beneficial for the environment and effective for increasing local mushroom farmers’ income. 
Mulberry branches containing selenium can be used for cultivating Black fungus. These Black fungus are of high nutrition and have a bright prospect. According to the manager of Litai Agriculture Development Co., Ltd, the price of Black fungus cultivated by mulberry branches containing selenium is predicted to be 280 CNY/kg. As 700 kg mulberry branches can be produced in one mu of mulberry field, these mulberry branches can be made as over 1000 mushroom spawn bags which may achieve the profit of 5000 CNY.
