Sichuan: Jintang county focuses on rare edible mushroom development

In 2012, Jintang county cooperated with provincial edible mushroom innovation team, making a breakthrough Morel commercial cultivation through trial cultivation. In 2014, the production scale of Morel reached 2000 mu, the peak production reached 300kg/mu, the output value reached 40 thousand CNY. It became the commercial and scale producing artificial Morel base in China.
This year, based on the Morel cultivation, Jintang county will develop Hericium erinaceus, Pholiota nameko, Maitake and other rare edible mushrooms to continue enrich Jintang edible mushroom species, developing Jintang edible mushroom industry.
