Beijing: The investment of 4.25 million is injected to edible mushroom bags production in Tongzhou

This year, the subsidy program for edible mushroom bags is implemented for the first time in Tongzhou. The investment of 4.25 million CNY will be injected to this program for promoting local mushroom industry and increasing farmer’s income.
Recently, the total production amount of both agriculture cultivation and factorial production achieves 35000 tons. The total value reaches 340 million CNY. Now, there are 2000 people working for mushroom cultivation in Tongzhou. Species involved in this mushroom bags program is consists of Shiitake, Oyster mushroom, Agrocybe Cylindracea and Black fungus. If calculated at 0.5 CNY for each mushroom bag, the total amount of Tongzhou’s mushroom bags is about 8.50 million bags.
During this program, subsidies are mainly focus on countries’ mushroom bags production enterprises and mushroom cooperation. Mushroom bags are sold to production base and farmers in cost price. But, qualified certificate is needed. On the other hand, farmers who bought mushroom bags in high price can also apply for the subsidy.
