Sichuan: All vegetables' prices decline except the Shiitake's which is rising in Nanchong market

From the 9th to 15th of March, vegetables’ price in Nanchong vegetable market were all declining. Vegetables’ average wholesale price was 4.89 CNY/kg, which decreased by 3.28% compared with 5.05 CNY/kg last week. However, the price of Shiitake mushroom was rising. The price increased from 10 CNY/kg to 11.71 CNY/kg. 
Due to that the spring is coming, the temperature is getting warm, local vegetables are growing faster according to temperature’s influence. The trading of local vegetables is accelerating, and vegetable species are abundant in the market. In addition, vegetable species imported from outside are rich and in sufficient amount. Thus, the trading price of local vegetables is declining. Nevertheless, Shiitake is one of the common edible mushroom species. It is in short supply, as well as its increasing cost of production. The price of Shiitake mushroom shows an increasing trend.
