Hunan: Xiangtan farmers get rich through growing mushroom with groundwater

It is reported that Bajiao village of Shitan town in Xiangtan county of Hunan is using a new three-dimensional multi-layer mushroom cultivation technology and achieved good results. The technology mainly use the medium of groundwater, through water cycle in a pipeline to make relative cooling in summer and heating in winter, the temperature is around 10 ℃, with all year round cultivation, the output value added from twenty thousand CNY per mu to one hundred thousand CNY per mu. It is understood that Bajiao village began planting mushroom from 2001, after more than ten years development, now it has become a national mushroom standardized demonstration area, with more than 600 mu of planting scale, 760 households, the mushroom industry output value has reached 20 million CNY.
