Sichuan: The development and utilization of wild fungus resources began to take shape

 At present, China is the world's largest matsutake producer and exporter , Sichuan is one of main matsutake producing areas in China , these areas concentrated distributed in 12 counties such as Ganzi county. The annual output of matsutake in the county reached 1000 tons, accounting for more than 20% of the province’s matsutake reserves on average, make the county a large county for tricholoma matsutake production in China. The county insisted to make the characteristic edible fungus industry as the pillar industry for the county economy to promote local farmers' income. At present, the county’s development and utilization of wild fungus resources are taking shape, collect and process more than 1000 tons of wild fungus per year, including a series of tricholoma matsutake products such as fresh, quick-frozen fresh mushroom, salted, dried slices, freeze-dried, etc, the annual output reached more than 70 million CNY, mainly exported to Japan, South Korea and other countries.
