Henan: Xixia output value of mushroom reached 3 billion CNY in 2014

Xixia county in Henan is nationally famous for being the hometown of mushrooms. In recent years, the county was in accordance with the "government guide, market driven, the wishes of the masses" principle, promote "the base plant, standardized management, brand management" production and operation mode, to guide farmers developing edible fungus industry. At present, XiXia county has built 15 professional mushroom towns, 110 professional Villages, 170 standardized planting bases, and about 35000 farming households were engaged in mushroom production. The mushroom production output reached 280000 tons in 2014,the output value reached more than 3 billion CNY.
