Jiangsu: Zefeng edible mushroom cooperative leads farmers to rich in Hongze county

It is known that Zefeng edible mushroom cooperative transferred 50 mu land to cultivate mushroom at its early days, at the same time it building 1500 square meters base of cultivating and spawn, leading farmers to rich. As far, cooperative has invest 1.5 million CNY, building 70 steel greenhouses, leading 60 surrounding farmers to cultivate edible mushroom, recruiting 20 local farmer-workers. Now, it has developed more than 10 kinds of mushrooms from the single of cultivating Oyster, including, Straw mushroom, Enoki mushroom, Button mushroom, Shaggy Mane, Pleurotus geesteranus, Shiitake, Black fungus, Hericium erinaceus and so on. At the same time, making full use of the local straw to reach 200 tons, having a good economic, ecological and social benefit.
