Shanghai Jiangqiao Market: Analysis of Mushroom Price

According to mushroom quotation provided by Shanghai Jiangqiao Vegetable Market, on April 26, Straw mushroom, King oyster mushroom, White Enoki mushroom and Yellow Enoki mushroom are 4 varieties that show price rise.
 
1. Price of Straw mushroom has risen from 16 to 17 CNY per kg, indicating 6% of increase range.

2. Price of King oyster mushroom has risen from 7 to 7.5 CNY per kg, indicating 7% of increase range.

3. Price of White Enoki mushroom has risen from 4.5 to 6.5 CNY per kg, indicating 44% of increase range.

4. Price of Yellow Enoki mushroom has risen from 4.5 to 5 CNY per kg, indicating 11% of increase range.

On the contrary, by April 26, White beech mushroom, Drumstick mushroom, Button mushroom, Agrocybe cylindracea, Brown Shimeji mushroom, Seafood mushroom and Stropharia rugosoannulata are 7 mushroom varieties that show price fall.

1. Price of White beech mushroom has dropped from 13.3 to 10.8 CNY per kg, indicating 19% of decline range.

2. Price of Drumstick mushroom has dropped from 14 to 12 CNY per kg, indicating 14% of decline range.

3. Price of Button mushroom has dropped from 13 to 10 CNY per kg, indicating 23% of decline range.

4. Price of Agrocybe cylindracea has dropped from 10 to 8.5 CNY per kg, indicating 15% of decline range.

5. Price of Brown Shimeji mushroom has dropped from 13.3 to 11.7 CNY per kg, indicating 12% of decline range.

6. Price of Seafood mushroom has dropped from 8 to 7 CNY per kg, indicating 13% of decline range.

7. Price of Stropharia rugosoannulata has dropped from 14 to 10 CNY per kg, indicating 29% of decline range.

“Price of Shiitake mushroom, Oyster mushroom, Pleurotus nebrodensis, Pholiota nameko and Hericium mushroom is respectively at 10 CNY, 6 CNY, 18 CNY, 9 CNY and 8 CNY per kg. From the second half of April, the majority of mushroom varieties show diverse degrees of downward trend except for several industrialized (factory-mode) mushroom varieties in our market. And, at present, lack of supply and fast price rise exist in industrialized mushroom varieties,” introduces manager of Shanghai Jiangqiao Vegetable Market warmly.
