Gansu Province of China: Market Analysis of Mushroom Price

According to mushroom quotation provided by Gansu Lanzhou Zhangsutan Vegetable Wholesale Market, on January 11, King oyster mushroom, Enoki mushroom, Shiitake mushroom, Seafood mushroom, White beech mushroom, Brown Shimeji mushroom, Agrocybe cylindracea and Button mushroom are 8 mushroom varieties that show price rise.

1. Price of King oyster mushroom has risen from 6 to 8 CNY per kg, showing 33% of increase range. 

2. Price of Enoki mushroom has risen from 7 to 8.6 CNY per kg, showing 23% of increase range. 

3. Price of Shiitake mushroom has risen from 10 to 12 CNY per kg, showing 20% of increase range.

4. Price of Seafood mushroom has risen from 11 to 14.5 CNY per kg, showing 32% of increase range.

5. Price of White beech mushroom has risen from 16.7 to 23.3 CNY per kg, showing 40% of increase range.

6. Price of Brown Shimeji mushroom has risen from 15.8 to 21.7 CNY per kg, showing 37% of increase range.

7. Price of Agrocybe cylindracea has risen from 12 to 14 CNY per kg, showing 17% of increase range.

8. Price of Button mushroom has risen from 15.7 to 17.2 CNY per kg, showing 10% of increase range.



On the contrary, by January, 11, Pleurotus nebrodensis and Yellow Enoki mushroom are 2 varieties that show price fall.

1. Price of Pleurotus nebrodensis has dropped from 24 to 18.8 CNY per kg, indicating 22% of decline range.

2. Price of Yellow Enoki mushroom has dropped from 8 to 7 CNY per kg, indicating 13% of decline range.

“In addition, market price of Oyster mushroom and Superior Shiitake mushroom is respectively at 7 CNY and 15 CNY per kg. Recently, due to market regulation and control, and the approaching of Chinese New Year, market price of Enoki, King oyster, White beech and Brown Shimeji mushroom increases in various degrees,” introduces manager of Gansu Lanzhou Zhangsutan Vegetable Wholesale Market.
