Actualization of Independent production of mushroom stick boosts income elevation

In 2016, Fuxing Village, Zhaoyuan County, Heilongjiang Province of China embarked on mushroom production in greenhouses, now, under the support and leadership of local government, growers’ enthusiasm is rising to an unprecedented upsurge. By the end of this year, independent production of mushroom stick is expected to be actualized to provide reliable guarantee for cost reduction and income elevation.

Now, in one of mushroom greenhouses within Fuxing Village, Shiitake mushroom production is orderly ongoing.

“I have been engaging in Shiitake mushroom production for 2 years. This year, its marker price of 16 CNY per kg indicates the bright prospect of Shiitake mushroom production, after the autumn, i rent 40 greenhouses, and successively introduced machines and equipment for independent production of mushroom stick. In April of 2019, the greenhouses are projected to be put into formal production,” introduces Mr. Liu Dezhi, principal of the greenhouses, going on that compared with other vegetable planting, mushroom production is simple in cultivation technology, high in growth speed while mushrooms are in stable price.
