Giant Termite Mushroom Found in China Weights 1.25 kg

On September 20, a giant Termite mushroom was foraged in Baoshan City, Yunnan Province of China and it rises public concerns.
Compared with common Termite mushroom, the giant stuff is large and fleshy, thick, strong and magnificent. And, it is 1.23 kg in net weight and values over 100 CNY. 
Termite mushroom is known as Termitomyces albuminosus and Collybia albuminosa, it is a kind of delicacy and is hailed as “Mushroom King” by virtues of thick texture, tender and sweet flavor. Besides, Termite mushrooms are packed with amino acid, protein, fat, vitamin and other nutrients which are necessary for the human body. 
In natural world, Termite mushroom is in symbiosis with white ants, while white ants construct the nest, mycelia of Termite mushroom are well cultivated, which forms a common ecosystem. 
Baoshan City holds sufficient rainfall, superior natural ecological condition, less pollution, and it is one of main producers of Termite mushroom in China, Termite mushrooms foraged in the city are also in high quality and are preferred by consumers throughout the world. And, now in China, artificial cultivation of Termite mushroom is still in an untapped situation.
