Inonotus hispidus collected on jujube tree gains attention

On September 6, Inonotus hispidus was found by Mr. Liang Zhirong, director of Shanxi Muye Mushroom Institute as well as professor-level senior engineering of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Inonotus hispidus is a kind of wood-rotting fungus which parasitizes on elm, poplar, white mulberry and other vigorous trees, in China, it mainly distributes in Heilongjiang, Jilin, Hebei, Shanxi and other provinces .
Researches show that sporocarps of Inonotus hispidus hold the medicinal efficiency of inhibiting tumor, expelling the moisture and stopping the bleeding. And, it also produces certain effect on treatment of diabetes, stomach trouble, arthritis, cardiovascular disease and haemorrhoids.
By now, Mr. Liang has smoothly implemented isolated cultivation to sample of Inonotus hispidus, and he plans to cooperate with related units so as to launch into deep system research and development.
