Chongqing: cultivating Button mushroom in rice seedling factory with high economic benefit

It is known that farmers use the spare time in winter to cultivate Button mushroom in the seedling factory  in Linjiang village of Chongqing city, the farmer's income is increased. It is estimated that Button mushroom could be harvested 6 to 10 kg/m2 , with a yield of 2400 to 4000 kg/mu and the gross value of  38400 CNY/mu at price of 16 CNY/Kg in the market,  after the deduction of  12000 CNY/mu cost, the net profit reach 26400 CNY/mu. Cultivating Button mushroom in rice seedling factory not only fully use the resources, but also gain high economic benefit, achieving the win-win.
