Henan: Shiitake mushroom adds a new highlight for the agricultural development

Recently, the members of the Lushunda edible mushroom cooperative become busy in the Shaxi village of the Henan province. One mushroom farmer introduces when he is picking, first-class Shiitake mushroom could be harvested three times. Its wholesale price is high, with 40 CNY/Kg for fresh mushrooms and 80 CNY/Kg for drid ones, the economic value for first-class Shiitake mushroom is two to three times higher than that of the other edible mushroom.

It is known that the Lushunda edible mushroom cooperative was founded in 2010. The cooperative not only drive the villagers to develop the edible mushroom industry, but also cultivate the spawn and spawn bags that often sold in Xuchang, Zhengzhou, Anyang, Kaifeng and other place. The mushroom farmers buy the spawn and cultivate mushrooms about 300 thousand bags, adding a new highlight for the local speciality agricultural development.
