Stropharia rugosoannulata cultivated in corn field achieve double harvests

On August 23, in High and New Technology Achievement Garden managed by Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Jilin Province, China, Stropharia rugosoannulata are showing desirable growth trend in corn field.
“In 2017, we launched into Stropharia rugosoannulata cultivation with corn stalks, now, the pattern which highlights low costs and high economic revenues has become a new path for farmers to increase incomes and grow prosperous,” introduces related researcher warmly.
Stropharia rugosoannulata carries abundant nutrition and requires no consumption on woods but on straws. In the garden, Stropharia rugosoannulata grows on base materials spread by smashed straws, and covered with black earth and straw on the top.
Intercropping between Mushroom and Corn yields double harvests. According to the pattern, weeds and pests are hardly seen in cultivation site after the hot fermentation of base materials, and fruiting time of Stropharia rugosoannulata generally arrives in late September.
