Recently, in Wangjia Village, Yuan’an County, Hubei Province of China, Shiitake mushrooms are in peak marketing season in greenhouse with the market price of 13.6 CNY per kg and supply falls short of demand.
Yuan’an County powerfully launched into anti-season Shiitake growing in a bid to reasonably utilize local mushroom greenhouses and ensure the stable incomes of mushroom growers. By now, Yuan’an Sanhe Specialized Mushroom Cooperative has been built with the gross investment of over 3.5 million CNY while 74 steel-structure Shiitake greenhouses have been constructed.
“We skillfully utilize an altitude of above kilometre to tackle with the technical puzzle and realize successful cultivation of Shiitake mushroom in summer, which fills in the technological blank of high-temperature season fruiting in China,” explains relevant principal passionately, going on that now, the cooperative absorbs 74 greenhouses, annual output on fresh Shiitake comes to 25 kg or so and annual sales income hits above 3 million CNY.
