Shandong: cultivating edible mushroom brings a new hope which rich for villagers

It is known that the Lanyu village of Shandong province is located in foot of the mountain that has the single agricultural structure, villagers having lower income. In order to change the status quo and to promote the income, the local government advocates villagers to develop the edible mushroom industry of low cost and high efficiency, and to step up the training and spreading of the technology of edible mushrooms. So far, the three steel greenhouses have cultivated the mushroom spawn, which cover more than 2000 square meters, expecting to sell mushrooms of more than 100 thousand kilograms, the output value reaching about a million CNY.
