Trial Pleurotus cornucopiae cultivation obtained its success in Liaoning, China

On August 2, in Yuanquan Mushroom Cooperative of Zhongxin Village, Xifeng County, Liaoning Province of China, Pleurotus cornucopiae are leading satisfactory growth tendency, which indicates the success of its trial cultivation.
With the gross investment of 2.9 million CNY, Yuanquan Mushroom Cooperative which sets mushroom cultivation, processing and marketing was founded. By now, it has built 65 standard mushroom greenhouses,  provided jobs for 80 poor households totalling over 200 population, and helped them generate per capita annual incomes of over 2000 CNY.
In the meanwhile of comprehensively promoting mushroom production, Yuanquan Mushroom Cooperative also constantly develops new varieties as well as new markets. On April, 2018, it launched trial Pleurotus cornucopiae cultivation in 3600 square meters of area by corncobs and corn stalks, cultivation capacity hits 170,000 sticks. In the future, the cooperative intends to expand the scale to 100 greenhouses so as to meet a greater market demand.
