As same as other crops, mushoom also requires pure and superior strain, quality of mushoom strain directly affects the success or failure of cultivation, as well as the final output.
In general, mushroom strain includes Mother Culture, Stock (Master) Culture and Cultivated Species (Production Spawn). Mushroom growers should introduce mushroom strain in accordance with its own actual ability and condition. No matter what strain you introduce, the following aspects should be comprehensively considered:
1. Variety selection: Good mushroom strain is of crucial importance for growers. Variety of mushroom strain is closely linked with local climate, raw materials and market requirement. Before the introduction, seek more advice from experts and implement market research so as not to take a tortuous cultivation course. In addition, be sure to know about the characteristic and cultivation technology of the variety you intend to introduce. Most importantly, don’t forget to ask the manufacture or unit about the situation on generation of the strain. The more generation the strain is passed, the poor quality it is.
