Shiitake mushroom becomes the Golden Card in Suizhou City, Hubei Province

Suizhou City of Hubei Province is The Home of Shiitake Mushroom in China, within the city, there are above 100 Shiitake enterprises and over 400,000 growers engaging in Shiitake industry, annual export earnings reach tens of millions of CNY. 
In order to promote the booming development of mushroom industry, the city actively exerts force to the field such as Quality Consumption, Big Health and Fine Processing. Local government also vigorously supports the industry and constantly strengthens it.
In 2017, value of Shiitake export attained 650 million USD in Suizhou City, which accounted for above 20% of China’s gross export value and ranked China’s first place.
Now, the city owns 39 enterprises engaging in Shiitake processing and export. In 2011, value of Shiitake export reached 462 million USD. In the next three years, the city proposes to adhere to the general thinkings of superior strain, standardized cultivation, intensive processing, integrative industry and branded marketing, strengthen mushroom industry that focuses on Shiitake mushroom to a bigger and stronger level.
