Agrocybe cylindracea industry promises an affluent tomorrow

In Jianyang District, Nanping City, Fujian Province of China, mushroom industry began to emerge in the early 1980s. Since 2000, as the scale of wood-consuming mushroom production gradually shrinks, its development speed has been affected. 
In order to promote the formation of mushroom industry and the transformation to modern agriculture, government of Jianyang District actively leads growers to establish specialized mushroom cooperative. By 2017, 16 cooperatives have been established in the district while over thousands of household have been encouraged to launch into mushroom industry. In Chabu Village of Janyang District, collective incomes attained 439,000 CNY while farmers’ per capita incomes reached 15,657 CNY in 2017.
