Trial Straw mushroom cultivation yields fruitful results

Now, in mushroom shed managed by Hongju Specialized Mushroom Cooperative of Huainan City, Anhui Province of China, superior Straw mushrooms enter into marketing season, which fills the blank of local mushroom market.
As a kind of high-temperature type variety, Straw mushroom is also known as a kind of high-end treasure which holds abundant nutritions and good taste. In addition, abundant Vitamin C contained in Straw mushrooms facilitates promoting metabolism and boosting immune system. For the variety, general temperature range for its growth is at 25-35 degrees Celsius.
“Up to now, we have established above 30 sheds for Straw mushroom cultivation, 9kg of fresh mushrooms could be cultivated on each square meter of mushroom bed and 4 flushes could be realized, mushrooms are quite preferred by customers with the present wholesale price of 40 CNY per kg,” introduces owner of Hongju Specialized Mushroom Cooperative warmly, going on that next step, they intend to introduce drying lines or process mushrooms into cans so as to extend industrial chain and reach for better benefits.
