Fungus farmers are rooted in Wangqing County, Jilin Province

Wangqing County is one of the first batches of national-level poor county in Jilin Province of China. Over the years, the county actively drives farmers to embark on mushroom industry by its natural environmental superiority during the implementation course of poverty alleviation, which opens up new path for the masses to boost revenues.
Now, there are nearly 40,000 farmers engaging in mushroom cultivation in Wangqing County, annual output on Black fungus comes to 47,500 tons, sales income hits 3.4 billion CNY while over 9000 poor populations have been leaded to increase per capita incomes of above 1000 CNY.
