Recently, in Yundong Vegetable Cooperative of Shengli Village, Kiamusze, Heilongjiang Province of China, growers are engaged with Shiitake picking.
“Now it is the peak season of Shiitake picking. In general, we pick Shiitakes every three days and each time of picking volume attains 1250-1500 kg or so,” introduces Mr. Wang, principal of the cooperative warmly, adding that by vertical cultivation mode, 30,000 sticks could be absorbed in each greenhouse, which shows double capacity compared with a common greenhouse.
In 2017, by acute mind and academic achievement, Mr. Wang seized Shiitake cultivation as the characteristic industry in Shengli Village. After repeated investigation, he launched trial Shiitake cultivation and attained fruitful outcomes.
After a one-year development, Yundong Vegetable Cooperative has been established by Mr. Wang. In the future, he proposes to provide technical guidance for more and more members, introduce strain and gradually make local Shiitake cultivation bigger and stronger.
