Mushroom production implemented in orchard gains good prospect

Changping District of Beijing is famous for sweet strawberry products. Located in internationally-accepted optimal zone of strawberry production, Changping District holds superior production condition and prominent product quality, strawberries produced in the district enjoy the popularity in Hong Kong, Singapore and other nations.
Over the years, Changping District has been positively implementing vertical cultivation between Strawberry and Mushroom in main flat production areas of strawberry, carrying out vertical cultivation between Fruit and Mushroom in fruit tree park of shallow mountain and conducting stick production of Chestnut mushroom by waste chestnut tree branches in remote mountain areas of chestnut production.
Now, there are 2 large-scale enterprises engaging in stick production of Chestnut mushroom within Changping District, gross stick output attains 3.1 million bags, woodland cultivation scale totals 671 mu, annual output comes to 559.9 tons while output value reaches 31.45 million CNY.
The development of Chestnut mushroom industry evidently exploits a booming road for farmers while the cyclic utilization of waste branches opens up a new path for the development and construction of new countryside in mountainous areas.
