Morels cultivated in 150 mu of land win 2.7 million CNY of output value

In recent days, trial Morel cultivation implemented in 150 mu of land is evolving into harvest season in Datong Town, Ningnan County, Sichuan Province of China.
As a kind of edible and medicinal mushroom variety, Morel mushrooms are in short supply in Chinese markets. According to estimation, Morel output on each mu of land attains 100 kg and the present market price reaches 160-240 CNY per kg.
“By now, over 13,500 kg of Morels have been cultivated in Datong Town, which contributes to the gross output value of 2.7 million CNY. Morel growing has evidently become another spacious path for townees to generate earnings,” introduces chief of Datong Town passionately.
