Trial Morel cultivation gains its prosperity

Not long ago, trial Morel cultivation obtained its success in Dazhai Village, Tongdu Sub-district, Kunming City, Yunnan Province of China, which indicates another prosperous path for growers to generate earnings.
According to calculation, each mu of land outputs 180 kg of fresh Morel mushrooms, generally, 1 kg of dried Morel could be obtained via 10 kg of fresh Morel. To estimate by the present market price of 1600 CNY per kg on dried form, mu sales income hits 28,800 CNY, after removing 10,000 CNY of costs, mu profits reach 18,800 CNY. In addition, cyclic cultivation between Morel and corn could also be realized.
Next step, Tongdu Sub-district proposes to further establish mushroom bases with cooperative partners, and provide superior strain, technical training for targeted masses, strives to promote Morel farming into a local sunrise industry.
