Ningde, Fujian Province: Value of mushroom export hits over 38.88 million USD from Jan to Feb

Learned from Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of Ningde City, Fujian Province of China, from Jan to Feb, 2278.9 tons of mushroom which value 38.88 million USD were exported from the bureau, which shows year-on-year growth of 79% and 84.7%. Main export varieties include Shiitake, Black fungus, Bamboo fungus, Monkey head mushroom, White fungus and others, primary exporters are Southeast Asia, Japan, Korea, European Union, USA and Hong Kong.
“In order to boost the sustainable and quick growth of mushroom export, our bureau positively encourages and guides enterprises to walk the road of branding, build brand standardization of products, seize key management point of product quality so as to guarantee the safety of product export,” introduces related principal from Ningde Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, adding that they also promote enterprises to exploit markets by policy of country of origin, and lead them to enhance market competitiveness by Generalized System of Preference and other preferential policy, which immensely strengthens the expansion of mushroom export.
